Narrative summary:

Bob Cassey is the Director of the Integritas Institute for Ethics. He came to the Newman Center at UIC in 2004 after a 27-year career practicing law, most recently with Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting) in the Chicago Loop. In his 10+ years with Accenture, Bob managed a group of contract professionals and served as the lead attorney in support of, successively, the firm’s manufacturing, travel & transportation, and government practices. A trustee of his alma mater, St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, he also has a master’s degree from McGill University in Montreal and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is working part-time toward an M.A. in theology from Catholic Theological Union in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Bob is a deacon of the Diocese of Joliet. He and his wife, Peggy, live in Glen Ellyn. Peggy, a community health nurse and an expert in nursing informatics, is on the faculty of the UIC College of Nursing. They have three children, all grown and launched.
