Biography:
Stephanie Springs, CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation, has taken on the top leadership position at the charity after serving in the corporate world and in other various non-profit organizations. Previous to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ms. Springs spent 30 years at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in their corporate information technology area, helping the company's diversity efforts. She was also Vice President of IT Business Management, a math teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, worked for different Girl Scouts Councils the Chicago Sinfonietta, and the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Ms. Springs is still actively involved with the Chicago Sinfonietta, and is now the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Crossroads Girl Scouts Council headquartered in Vernon Hills, Illinois. With a bachelor degree of science in math and education from the University of Illinois. With a bachelor degree of science in math and education from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, an MBA in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago, a husband and 2 children, Stephanie Springs is a woman of power and dedication that we would gladly support in the conference.
