Terrence Duffy
Biography:
Terrence Duffy, the keynote speaker, is Chairman of The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings' Inc.
and of CME's boards since April 2002. He was director of CME Holdings' board (since its start on Augist 2nd, 2001), and of CME's board (since 1995), which makes him a member of the companys for over 20 years. While participating in the executive, compensation, nominating, strategic planning and regulatory oversight committees, Mr. Duffy picked up many important skills and knowledge to become successful in the business world. He used to say, "Start small, think big" and "Always have a moral compass to do what's right even when no one is looking." Well accomplished, Mr. Duffy has also been recognized as President of T.D.A. Trading, Inc. since 1981. Even President Bush appointed him to the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, which was confirmed by the U.S. Senate. We are so proud to have Terrence Duffy speak on behalf of the Chicago Business Community, and as a great leader in today's society.
