Biography:

Doris Christopher, proud wife and mother, is also the President and Founder of a business that sells unique, top quality kitchen tools, called The Pampered Chef, Ltd. Christopher started The Pampered Chef from the basement of her suburban Chicago home of 1980, and has since developed the company into a very well-known and reliable line of kitchen ware. Pampered chef became a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in 1986, and Christopher was named to the Board of Directors in 1992, then to Chairperson, and is currently Immediate Past Chairperson of the DSA and Chairperson of the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF). In 1998, the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois recognized the Pampered Chef with the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. With great service and excellent products, Pampered Cheft now has over 12 million devoted customers and is considered one of the fastest growing, privately owned companies in America. Not only is Christopher's company doing phenomenally, but she was recently recognized as one of the "Top 50 Women Business Owners" in Working Women magazine.
