Cardinal Newman Dialogue

The discovery and dissemination of Truth is a university's reason for being. It is the perfection of the intellect and the goal of the intellectual life. The Cardinal Newman Dialogue program seeks to develop community among Catholic students and faculty as Catholics and aims to provide opportunities to help Catholics better understand their faith and the teachings of the Church. The program encourages appreciation and provides a forum for the study of important texts and authors within the Catholic tradition (Newman, Aquinas, Augustine, etc.). Finally, this program promotes among faculty, students and staff the personal integration of faith and reason, prayer and study, the sacraments and ones vocational and professional calling.
