Integritas Institute for Ethics at the University of Illinois at Chicago
Dedicated to the ever increasing knowledge, practice, and love of the ethical premise…
The Integritas Institute was formed in 1997 by the John Paul II Newman Center in response to an identified need to provide a forum for the study and discussion of ethics in the professional colleges of UIC. Integritas, the Latin word for "integrity," is derived from integrare, which means to make whole, repair, invigorate. We believe that there is a clear relationship between our intellectual, moral, and spiritual lives, and that a full education will contribute to our development as complete persons with respect to ourselves and others.
